ABOUT
Dorothée Bouliane is a young artist who navigates between crafts and the visual arts, using glass as her main material. Originally from Quebec's South Shore, she has been living and creating in Montreal for the past few years. She graduated in 2022 from Espace Verre's craft program, offered in collaboration with Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, and has since been the recipient of several grants. The young artist specializes in the fabrication of objects and installations in blown and cast glass using the lost-wax technique. In her creations, Dorothée addresses the absurdity of our world, the strangeness of human existence, irrationality and relativity through narrative and duality.
